MSU Engineering Building

Design Day has become one of the premier undergraduate academic events of the College of Engineering. Our students celebrate their achievements by exhibiting their course projects and competing for prestigious awards.

Now in our 26th year, we have been planning for yet another record Design Day on April 24, with participation by all ten of our academic programs, involving over 1,200 students.

Unfortunately, due to the current health situation in our country and our community, the Design Day activities that were scheduled to be held in the Engineering Building have been cancelled.

While in-person class meetings were cancelled at MSU, courses were not. Our committed and resourceful faculty, staff and students pivoted to bring all of our Engineering design courses online within twenty-four hours.

We are putting our mantra into practice: “Spartans Will!”

Our Design Day booklet  (booklet pdf) describes our students’ projects, including those of our graduating seniors who are the headliners of our Design Day program.  We are confident that our Design Day tradition will continue once again in December.
