ME 481 THOMAS ALVA EDISON UNDERGRADUATE DESIGN AWARD
The Edison Undergraduate Design Award is given to the ME 481 Design Team that is judged to have produced the best technical design project. This semester’s scholars redesigned an existing test rig for driveshaft joint friction. The team was supervised by Dr. Daniel Segalman.
ME 481 PROJECT PRESENTATION AWARD
The ME 481 Project Presentation Award for the best presentation of a design project was awarded for redesign of an automated robotic system to decrease the amount of paint wasted as overspray and the number of operators required, in a project sponsored by Steelcase and supervised by Dr. Brian Feeny.
